This is the second part of Behind the Music, focusing on Deep Ellum music venues in the 1990s. (See Phase 1 of this exhibit here )
Featured venues for this phase include Lizard Lounge, Trees, and Club Dada.
The timeline wall has been updated with more pictures of venues in the neighborhood, and the Upstairs Gallery and Flex Space also tie into the exhibit with concert posters, advertisement banners, and videos.
This exhibit will continue in Summer of 2026 to feature music venues in the ’00s.
